Just wanted to let all you folks know that we will not be at the New Albany Farmer’s Market this Wednesday, August 6th. Kenny and I will be attending the quarterly meeting of the Indiana Egg Board, hosted by the Purdue Extension Floyd County Office.
Attendees will learn about the mission and responsibility of the Board, as well as information on pertinent topics such as, farm market audits and refrigeration information related to a new directive from USDA/FSIS on the transportation and storage of eggs. Egg producers, suppliers and entrepreneurs are invited to attend this informative meeting.
