Strawberries are ready!
Anyone want strawberries early this week? Kenny and I have been in the patch all morning picking. They won’t last till Saturday. With rain expected this week we probably won’t have them Saturday morning. They are kinda fickle and don’t do we’ll in the extreme heat and rain.
I will be at the market from 4-7 on Wednesday with Strawberries and a few other items. We have some asparagus, green onions, radishes and a few new heads of ithaca lettuce; that’s about it for us on Wednesday. If you want to pre-order just send me a quick e-mail and I will be sure to set them back for you.
A few other vendors will be there as well… Laura from Road Side Stand will be there with her fresh bread, and word has it there will be “Strawberry Bread” available. Chef Walker will also be at the market cooking up his goodies. Valerie, the honey lady will also be there. There may even be another vendor there with homemade crafts.
