What a wild and crazy couple of weekends… most of you know that my nephew plays basketball for the Borden Braves and I have been following him since he began playing ball at age 4. (He’s the young man that worked for us last summer at the farmer’s market) Cody and his team had an awesome year, they successfully won their way to Indiana State Class 1A Champions. I am so proud of them and wanted to share this awesome photo with each of you.
Now lets get back to farmer’s market news… this week we will be taking orders for the greens we have available… baby lettuce, spinach, and kale. Don’t forget to pick up your farm-fresh, free-range eggs at the market. We have quite the variety… brown, green and quail eggs too. Just a reminder that we have been selling out early each week so come early or pre-order to make sure you get the items you need.
My friend Valerie Shealy’s local honey and fresh pecans from their South Carolina farm will be available this weekend.
